The Direct Energy Business Demand Response solution is uniquely designed around our customers. We deliver state-of-the-art monitoring technology that provides usage insights at the equipment level. It's part of the complete offering of electricity and natural solutions we offer at Direct Energy Business, a leading retail energy supplier.

Regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the New England Independent System Operator (ISO-NE) is a not-for-profit corporation that manages the movement of wholesale electricity in the New England region. Its primary function is to maintain the reliability of the power grid throughout the region and Demand Response programs play an important role in achieving this goal.

ISO-NE Demand Response Program Details

  • The summer program runs from June through November; the winter program runs from December through May.
  • Direct Energy Business will notify facilities 30 minutes prior to an ISO-called Demand Response event.
  • Facilities can be called upon at any time.

Participation is Easy

You may generate recurring revenue by reducing your electricity consumption through the Direct Energy Business Demand Response program. From customizing your curtailment plan, to distributing your monthly payments, we will help simplify your participation.
