PJM Capacity Changes

Beginning this month, approximately 4,800 megawatts (MW) of new generation will come online in the form of new natural gas-fired combined-cycle generation. The new units will likely increase natural gas demand for power generation and serve as price support.

PJM 2020/2021 Capacity Auction 

PJM recently completed its capacity auction for the 2020/2021 time period. Resource Clearing Prices (RCPs) increased year-over-year in several constrained areas. Watch the video for further analysis.
