“Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted by Hurricane Harvey and the subsequent flooding in South Texas," said Direct Energy Business President John Schultz. "Our primary concern right now is for the safety and well-being of our 1,000 employees in the area and providing assistance where needed. Houston is a great city with a strong business community that we are proud to be part of and it is wonderful to see so many working together to help those in need.”

As Texans, we are here for each other. We believe in building and maintaining strong connections with the people and communities we serve. Through September 12, all disconnection activity has been suspended for Texas customers impacted by the recent weather events to allow them to focus on what matters most – their families and communities.
