20,000+ New Jersey Businesses Just Received a Special Energy Offer

We're proud to announce that the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) – which provides information, services and advocacy to its member companies – recently named Direct Energy as the preferred electricity supplier for its more than 20,000 members in the Garden State.

As part of the new program, NJBIA member companies will have access to member-only prices for standard 12-month and 24-month fixed-price products, with price protection and no cancellation fees. Other options include a green energy product and a 24-month electricity plan that comes with a Nest Learning Thermostat at no extra cost. 

“Reliable, affordable energy is essential to any business operation,” NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka said. “We are excited about this new partnership with Direct Energy because of the outstanding products and services they bring to the table. It’s a great addition to the benefits we offer member companies.”

Members also have the option to participate in ChooseAgain, a unique program where there are no fees or penalties to select a new electricity or natural gas price. As long as members remain a Direct Energy customer, they can switch plans at any time, even if prices drop.

The NJBIA announcement comes after the State of Delaware’s recent selection of Direct Energy as the “Electric Retail Supplier Exclusively Contracted by the State of Delaware.” As part of the groundbreaking program in Delaware, Direct Energy will serve 315,000 residents and businesses in the Delmarva territory and for Delaware Electric Cooperative’s 84,000 customers. It is the first such program and statewide designation in the United States.
