Direct Energy Business hires new Head of Human Resources

Direct Energy Business continues to grow, adding a new Head of Human Resources, Julie Murphy. This hire supports the ambitious goal to double the company’s growth.

Julie is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in human resources and business consulting. She joins Direct Energy Business from Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield based in Pittsburgh. In her role, she led strategic people and organizational planning, talent review and succession planning. She also played an instrumental role in preparing the business for transformative organizational change resulting from health care reform. Previously, she spent 12 years at H. J. Heinz as a trusted business advisor to senior leaders, aligning people strategy with business strategy to grow the company’s revenue and profit.
